How do I clone a volume, and how long does it take?

In the console, open Storage → Block volumes, choose Clone from the volume's ⋮ menu, and pick the destination - you can clone across datacenter locations. The volume must be detached (or its instance shut down) first. Cloning time scales with the volume's size and how full it is, so larger volumes take longer; you can track progress in the console.
