If I shutdown a GPU instance, it shows me a warning that "this compute will continue to charge your account" - is that due to storage charges? Or the full GPU charges as well?

Edited

Hi, shutdown is used for maintenance and when you need to do operations with storage volumes. During shutdown it keeps charging the full GPU price and the GPU instance is dedicated for you the entire time. You can start it again.

If you want the billing to stop you need to delete the instance. You can keep the OS volume and restart another instance with it later. Storage is also billed, as long as it is stored.

Shutdown and delete commands explained here:
